MIG is proud to announce the successful energisation of the 110/10 kV primary substation at the Plovdiv Industrial Park. The event marks the completion of a 14-month EPC project that included a new 110 kV GIS bay, two 25 MVA power transformers, and a 14-panel 10 kV metal-clad switchgear building.
Commissioning was completed two weeks ahead of the original milestone date, allowing the park developer to offer grid connections to anchor tenants earlier than planned. The on-time delivery was the result of careful supply-chain management and close coordination between MIG's civil, electrical, and commissioning teams.
The project was technically accepted by the Bulgarian Energy System Operator with all protection relay settings approved on first submission — a result of thorough upfront protection coordination studies carried out by MIG's engineering department.
