MIG has completed a strategic investment programme to expand its high-voltage construction capabilities. The investment includes hot-stick sets rated to 110 kV, a 100 kV portable test set for site insulation testing, hydraulic SF6 recovery units, and a new tool store dedicated to HV work.
Four of our senior engineers have completed the KEMA High Voltage Commissioning Engineer certification programme, giving MIG in-house capability to commission 110 kV circuit breakers, disconnect switches, and busbar sections without reliance on manufacturer representatives.
This investment was driven by client demand. Several of our recurring industrial and renewable energy clients have been expanding their installations to the 110 kV level, and MIG is committed to remaining their single source of accountability across all voltage levels on a project.
